Toys R Us have their own line of American Girl Doll like dolls. They are called Journey Girls. The dolls sell for $29.99, but during the holiday time, they are on sale for $19.99. I wouldn't buy one because I love AG dolls way more, but they have some cool stuff for cheap prices!
They aren't very pretty in my opinion.

Yes, I agree! They all look sort of mad. Don't worry, you didn't offend me. I just decided to post it because I thought they had a really cool bedroom set. You should check it out at toysrus.com! ReplyDeletei am not for either side because i have neither and i do agree they are pretty, i personally hunt for bargains but i am a person who does not mix two dolls in one game or video (im a doll u tuber). I think these dolls are meant to look older than the american girls, like teen age girls and personally i don't think they are copieing, they have different shape bodies and heads and have older faces. they are meant to be older than american girls i think and yes, i think they have pretty faces, and it is good they are cheap (and look good quality), and you are only going on like this because you collect ags, if you didnt collect either like me, you would not notice the imperfections, you are just looking for those faults to assure yourself that your dolls are nice, i collect a type of doll, and was also like that when a new doll looking like them came out, but in hindsight the dolls were actually pretty, if you could forget about ags, and look at thm from a non-byist view, you may see these doll's beuty

ReplyDeleteI like them but thats just my personal opinion and whoever that was going on and on about how crappy they are..do u have one? im just saying..not everyone can afford an american girl doll because aren't they like $100? i like american girl dolls and id like to have one one day but i cant afford to drop $100 on a doll so for people like me and there are several, this i think is a good alternative along with Madame Alexander, Our Generation (though if anyone says theyre ugly i agree 100% but still), Springfield etc. though those are really cheap looking..BUT if you like to redo dolls and stuff then Springfield is a good choice. And now on to the accessories for Journey girls: i think that stuff is better than american girl really..i mean you get the same product for less than half the price which again is good for people who can't/don't want to spend that much for DOLL furniture. Oh and also I want to say this: have you seen the Journey Girls now? I don't like those as much as the original. Just wanted to say that because they have more and they look different now:)
